Shore to Shore Relay Details
Since this is a new concept in Ultra-distance events we wanted to breakdown the format as clearly as possible. Here is how it goes:
- The Westover Shore To Shore Running Relay is 332 kilometres long and has a total of five Stages.
- Within those five Stages are 36 Legs. The difficulty and distance of each Leg varies and ranges from 5 kilometres to 14 kilometres.
- The number of Legs in each Stage varies from six to eight.
There are two walking events:
- The first walking event is 201 kilometres long and will appeal to teams of competitive walkers. For the 201 kilometre race there are 3 Stages and 22 Legs.
- The second is 57.8 kilometres in length and will appeal to teams who want to be involved, spend time with their friends and have a great time. This event is 57.8 kilometres, has 1 Stage with 8 Legs.
